I am certain that we have all read about Linkedin passwords being hacked by people in Russia and that we have now all changed our passwords, or are about to; but the part of this story that amuses me are the actual passwords used by the users.
Passwords used include “I wish I was dead”, “Ihatemyjob”, “hopeless” and no doubt many other permutations in the same vein; Freud or some other psychoanalyst would have a field day here in analysing these people and then come up with something about their mother, father, childhood or dead hamster to explain why they chose such a password.
